About Ceremonies by Cassandra
Ceremonies by Cassandra is Cass Fisher, an authorised marriage celebrant and NSW Justice of the Peace based in Elderslie near Camden. Appointed in 2016, she has married more than 250 couples, mostly across Macarthur and south-west Sydney, and is a preferred celebrant at local venues including Gledswood Homestead, Camden Valley Inn, the Australian Botanic Garden at Mount Annan and Lakeside Golf Club Camden. Her ceremonies are built from a Wedding Workshop and a Couples Quiz that each partner answers separately, so the first draft is a surprise to both. The Love Story Ceremony goes further: Cass contacts a few nominated guests for their memories and reveals them during the ceremony. She matches her outfit to the wedding colours and has even turned up in costume for a themed wedding. Cass also works as a reception MC, hosting until the formalities wrap up, so couples can keep one familiar voice from the aisle to the speeches. She books a single wedding a day, arrives early to check the space and meet the other suppliers, and travels to Wollongong, the Southern Highlands, Windsor, the Blue Mountains and the Sutherland Shire. Elopements, micro-weddings and vow renewals are offered alongside full ceremonies.

Frequently asked questions
Can Cass MC our reception as well?
Yes. She offers reception hosting for $725, covering the night until the formalities are finished, which pairs naturally with her ceremony packages.
What is the difference between the Unique and Love Story ceremonies?
The Unique ceremony ($1,300) is written for you using your Couples Quiz and includes a rehearsal. The Love Story ceremony ($1,500) adds extra quiz questions and input gathered from nominated guests, revealed on the day.
Where does Cass travel for weddings?
She is based in Elderslie and covers Macarthur, Camden and Campbelltown, plus Wollongong, the Southern Highlands, Windsor, the Blue Mountains and the Sutherland Shire. Travel up to 50km is included.
Will guests be able to hear the ceremony?
Yes. Cass uses a Bose sound system raised on a stand and a wireless handheld Sennheiser microphone, with a wind sock for breezy outdoor ceremonies.
How is the date secured?
A $250 booking fee holds your date and forms part of the ceremony price. A part payment is due four months out and the balance one month before the wedding.
