About Celebrations By Bev
Celebrations By Bev is the business of Beverley Wright, a marriage celebrant based in Manly on Sydney's Northern Beaches. She came to celebrancy from the events industry and live television presenting, after years of helping friends organise their weddings. Bev conducts fully personalised wedding ceremonies, registry-style and Legals Only weddings, elopements, friend-led ceremonies, vow renewals and naming ceremonies, and works with international couples marrying in Australia. Her Full Ceremony package covers flexible meetings, unlimited correspondence, NOIM lodgement, a ceremony design session, help with personal vows, a rehearsal, all legal paperwork, a professional portable PA and a commemorative certificate, with no public holiday surcharge. Ceremonies usually run 20 to 30 minutes. For couples who want something shorter, her Legals Only option is a five to eight minute ceremony with two witnesses, still with room for rings and a few personal words, and it can be arranged largely by video. Bev also works as a wedding MC, either alone or combined with the ceremony. She builds the run sheet with the couple, liaises with the venue, DJ, photographer and other suppliers, introduces speeches, hosts games, keeps meals on time and gets the dance floor going, covering up to four hours after the ceremony. Legals Only bookings are for Greater Sydney, while full ceremonies can travel to the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Southern Highlands for a travel fee.

What does the Full Ceremony package with Bev include?

Can we book Bev as MC without her as celebrant?
Yes. Her MC-only service is $895 including GST and covers up to four hours from the end of your ceremony, running the formalities through to the dance floor.
What is a Legals Only ceremony with Bev?
A five to eight minute ceremony with the two of you and two witnesses, covering the legally required words and paperwork. It costs $550 on weekdays and $660 on weekends including GST.
Will Bev travel outside Sydney?
For full ceremonies, yes, including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Southern Highlands, with any travel fee confirmed upfront. Legals Only ceremonies are for Greater Sydney only.
How do we secure a date with Bev?
Check her availability, then sign the agreement and pay a $250 non-refundable deposit. The balance is due eight weeks before the ceremony.
