About Star Celebrant
Star Celebrant is Rohit Revo, a marriage celebrant working from Bella Vista, in the Hills District, who works across Greater Sydney. Most of his couples come to him for Hindu, Sikh and Punjabi weddings, and he runs ceremonies in English, Hindi or Punjabi, or a blend of the three so both families can follow along. He has also married couples from Fijian, Lebanese, Greek, Chinese, Filipino and Afghan backgrounds, and builds interfaith ceremonies where two traditions meet. Before he became a celebrant, Rohit edited South Asian newspapers in Sydney, did voiceover work for SBS Radio and hosted Bollywood shows and large weddings as an MC. That background shapes how each ceremony is written and delivered: he interviews the couple to find their story, then presents it clearly enough to reach the back of a big hall. Couples who want one person through the whole day can book him to officiate and then MC the reception. Packages run from a short legal signing with two witnesses to a full multicultural ceremony with family meetings, bilingual elements and lapel microphones. His private garden in Bella Vista suits small weddings and elopements without a venue fee, and he also takes ceremonies to the Blue Mountains, the Hunter Valley and the South Coast, interstate trips, and to destination celebrations in Fiji and New Zealand once the legal marriage is done in Australia. Vow renewals are offered as well.

Frequently asked questions
Can Star Celebrant run the ceremony in Hindi or Punjabi?
Yes. Rohit conducts ceremonies in English, Hindi and Punjabi, either fully bilingual or with key moments in a second language, while keeping the legal wording correct.
Does Rohit also MC the reception?
Yes. He offers ceremony officiating and reception MC work as a combined booking, so the same person runs the day from the vows to the formalities. Mention it when you enquire.
What does the $1,200 Signature Wedding include?
Two consultations, a bespoke script, rehearsal attendance, cultural traditions worked into the ceremony, up to 45 minutes on the day, all legal paperwork and lodgement, and a PA system if needed, for up to 150 guests.
Do we need to book a separate ceremony venue?
Not necessarily. Rohit has a private garden at his home in Bella Vista that couples can use for intimate weddings and elopements with no hire fee.
Does he travel outside Sydney?
Yes. He goes to the Hunter Valley, the Blue Mountains and the South Coast for a travel fee, takes interstate weddings with costs quoted up front, and joins destination celebrations in Fiji and New Zealand.
