About Shark Tower Function Room @ Redhead Surf Life Saving Club
Redhead Surf Life Saving Club has looked after Redhead Beach since 1908, and its clubhouse on Beach Road sits right at the edge of the sand. Upstairs is the Shark Tower Function Room, which the club opens to the public for wedding receptions, birthday parties, work functions and local community events, with the money going back into the volunteer club. The room runs along the front of the building behind a wall of glass, so the surf and the headland are in view from almost every table. The club's photos show it set with round tables for a reception, long rustic tables for a dinner, and lounge settings by the windows, and there is a balcony outside for fresh air and photos. The clubhouse has its own bar with beer on tap. Pricing is published on the club's functions page: midweek hire starts from $500, weekend hire from $1,700 and memorial services from $800. Drink packages are available from the club bar. Food for functions isn't set out on the website, so talk through catering and the club's rules of hire with the functions manager. First time there , nice spot . Area nice for. Children under supervision , dogs not allowed near surf club , but dogs allowed north of the creek on leads, then lead free area just a little further down the beach .
