About Caitlin Amy Photography
Caitlin Amy Photography is run by Caitlin from an office in Merewether, and a good share of her weddings happen close to home. Her real weddings include a spring Friday at Lot19 in Wickham, a ceremony at Caves Beach followed by a party at the Redhead Surf Club, a couple who eloped and surprised their guests at the Maryville Tavern, and a Customs House wedding in the city. She has also shot styled sessions at Fort Scratchley and the Goodfriends Cafe, and she also travels to Port Stephens, the Central Coast and the Hunter Valley. Her approach is relaxed and fun. Rather than spending hours arranging people, she prefers natural moments of you with your friends and family, then steps in to guide group shots and portraits. The pictures she loves most are colourful, romantic and lit from behind, and her editing is light and bright with warm tones. She openly admits she cries at most ceremonies and speeches. Collections all begin with a planning session, and Caitlin stays in contact to help work out ceremony and photo timings. Half Day gives you five hours and between 300 and 500 photos. All Day follows you from getting ready through to the first dance. All Day plus Late Night Party brings a second photographer and a Queensberry album, with an engagement shoot available. A photo and video collection adds a videographer and a short film. Expect your gallery in three to six weeks. It comes with a full print release and a raw timber box of prints. Elopements of one or two hours are offered too.
