About Artisan Photographs
Artisan Photographs is Sheri and Jordan, a husband-and-wife team based in Newcastle who photograph and film weddings together. Sheri grew up in Canada and now calls the coastal city home, while Jordan is a local. Being married themselves shapes what they look for: the small glance between mates, a parent's first look at the dress, the moment the dance floor tips into chaos. Their approach begins with reading people. They notice how a couple, their friends and family relate to one another and anticipate the reactions that fit each personality, from a dry eye roll to a soft smile or a loud crowd. Galleries have an editorial, artistic feel while staying true to the day, and films are easygoing, with light direction and well-chosen music. Their own guide to Newcastle weddings points to venues such as Crowne Plaza and Merewether Surfhouse, and they also work regularly in the Hunter Valley, where they married at Walka Water Works. Packages are photo only, video only or both, over six, eight or ten hours. Each includes a sneak peek gallery within 24 hours, travel within 100km at no charge, complimentary A3 fine art prints and delivery guaranteed within six weeks, with $1,000 paid to you if they miss it. Associates and second shooters are available, and Sheri and Jordan edit every image themselves.

What does Newcastle wedding photography with Artisan cost?
Six hours of photography, from the ceremony to the first dance, starts from $3200. Video on its own starts from $5500, while a combined photo and video package starts from $7400.
Is travel to Lake Macquarie included?
Yes. Every package includes free travel within 100km, which covers Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Weddings further out are quoted on their location.
How quickly do we see our photos?
You will see a first selection within 24 hours, and the complete gallery of roughly 600 to 1000 edited images is guaranteed within six weeks.
How do we secure our wedding date?
Sign the contract and pay a 25% booking fee to hold the date. Smaller instalment payments can be arranged if that works better.
Will an associate photographer's images match the portfolio?
Yes. Planning stays with Sheri and Jordan, any associate is trained to shoot their way, and the couple edit every image themselves so the look stays consistent.
