MeOhMy Flowers is run by Megan, a florist based in Belmont on Lake Macquarie with more than 500 weddings to her name. Her look is soft, romantic and garden-inspired, made with seasonal Australian-grown flowers, and she handles everything from bouquets and buttonholes through to ceremony installations and reception tables. Couples around Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, including weddings at Merewether Surfhouse, have used her for the whole day's flowers. Booking follows a clear path. You send an enquiry about your wedding, and Megan responds with a mood board and a fully itemised proposal. A 30% deposit and signed terms secure the date, and the details are finalised six weeks before the wedding. You can pay the remainder in three instalments or all together. Ceremony arrangements are designed to be moved to the reception, so the same flowers work twice. Delivery, set-up and pack down are added to each proposal, and the price guide lists Newcastle delivery at $110. The team installs everything on the wedding day and returns to pack down the next day. Vases, candles, crystal and ceremony frames can be hired so the styling matches the flowers. Care for the environment runs through the studio. There is no floral foam, green waste goes to compost, buckets and vases are filled with rainwater, and two seedlings are planted for every booking. Megan also delivers to the Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and the Central Coast.
