About Edwards & Day
Edwards & Day is the floristry business of Jenna Edwards and Amy Day, who met while training as florists and now design flowers for weddings and events. They are based in Newcastle and Lorn, and take on celebrations around Newcastle and Lake Macquarie as well as in the Hunter Valley. Between them they cover two quite different looks: one prefers pared-back, natural designs in soft neutrals, the other reaches for vivid colour and dramatic statement pieces. Before flowers, both worked in education and social work, and that experience shows in how they plan. They value long conversations and working closely with couples, and they understand what a wedding means to the people organising it. Every booking begins with a chat about your vision, or about how to find one if you are still unsure. For weddings, they can take on everything for the ceremony and reception, or simply make the bouquets. Their portfolio shows bouquets for brides and bridesmaids, timber arbours covered in white roses and greenery, welcome and seating signs decorated with floral sprays, and flowers styled on wedding cakes. For events, the arrangements are scaled to the occasion and the room, from a laid-back birthday at home to a large corporate function, and some hire pieces can be added to sit with the flowers.
