About Sorrento Wedding Photography & Films
Sorrento Wedding Photography & Films is run by Shannon and Christine, a couple who moved into weddings after a career in advertising and commercial photography. Shannon studied fine art photography and grew up around Blairgowrie and Sorrento, which is where the business name comes from. Their office is in Capel Sound, and meetings are by appointment. The team shoots in an editorial, natural style on medium format cameras. They keep posing light, chase the candid moments and avoid heavy filters, adjusting and lightly retouching each image individually so the colours stay true to the day. Civil, religious and LGBTQ+ ceremonies are all part of their portfolio, and their real-wedding stories cover beach ceremonies, vineyard receptions, chapels and surf club parties around the Peninsula. Photography and film can be booked together or separately. Film packages range from short highlight films to longer cuts, with music picked from a licensed library, and photo coverage runs from five hours to a full day, with extra hours available on any package. Couples get a sneak peek a few days after the wedding, a film link in about two weeks, and the full set in a private gallery and on a USB in roughly four to six weeks. They also photograph engagement sessions and can pull together small elopements, arranging the celebrant, flowers and location as well as the photos and film. Albums, prints and frames are offered for couples who want their images on the wall.

Yes. For elopements and very small weddings they can bring together the celebrant, flowers and a location as well as the photography and filming, so the couple only needs to turn up.
How does booking work?
Send an enquiry to book and the team will share their full package list. Meetings are available at their Capel Sound office by appointment, and a $400 deposit secures each photography or videography service.
