About Jeremy Blode Photography
Jeremy Blode Photography is a husband-and-wife wedding business based on the Mornington Peninsula. Jeremy is behind the camera, and Rach runs the studio – answering questions, helping with timelines and pointing couples towards other suppliers they trust. The style is documentary rather than directed. Jeremy moves quietly through the day and rarely asks anyone to look at the lens, apart from family groups, so the photos show the laughter, tears and dance-floor moments as they happened. Couples who feel awkward in front of a camera are kept moving during portraits, which helps the nerves settle. The gallery covers the whole celebration: ceremony set-ups, long reception tables, styled rooms, speeches and the party. Jeremy shoots most weddings solo, and brings in a second photographer from his team for very large weddings, usually just for a few key hours. Wet weather is planned for, with umbrellas in the car and covered spots scouted in advance. After the day, a sneak-peek set arrives within a week, and the full collection follows as a shareable online gallery with every image in colour and black and white. Fine art albums and 35mm film are available, and packages are built around each wedding.

Frequently asked questions
Where is Jeremy Blode Photography based?
Jeremy and Rach live and work on the Mornington Peninsula and photograph weddings at estates, wineries, coastal spots and private properties across the Peninsula.
What style of wedding photography does Jeremy shoot?
A relaxed, documentary style. Jeremy keeps posing to a minimum, gives gentle direction only when needed and focuses on genuine moments as the day unfolds.
Do we need a second photographer?
Most weddings are photographed by Jeremy alone. For weddings of around 200 or more guests he may suggest a second photographer for three to four key hours, such as the ceremony and cocktail hour.
How many photos will we receive?
It depends on the day, but as a guide eight hours of coverage usually produces about 600 to 700 edited images, each delivered in both colour and black and white.
Can we order an album or film photos?
Yes. Fine art wedding albums can be added to a package, and 35mm film photography is available – send an enquiry to talk through the options.
