About Katie B Celebrant
Katie B is a marriage celebrant from Mornington who has been conducting weddings since 2017 and has led more than 100 ceremonies. She also dabbles in stand-up comedy, which shows in ceremonies built on genuine stories, laughter and the odd tear. Every package starts with a free, no-obligation chat to see if she's the right fit. From there she handles the legal paperwork, keeps you on track with reminders and helps with vows if you want them. Options run from a short legal ceremony for couples who simply want to be married, to an elopement for about ten guests, to a fully personalised 20–30 minute ceremony with readings, rituals and keepsake vow cards. Meetings can happen in person or over Zoom, and emails and phone calls along the way are unlimited in the elopement and personalised packages. On the day, you simply turn up and enjoy it while she looks after the running of the ceremony. The fuller packages come with a PA system you can use for your ceremony music. What does the cheapest ceremony include?
The Just the Legals package is a five-minute ceremony at a location within 10km of Mornington. It includes an introductory video chat, a meeting to complete the paperwork, lodgement of the legal forms and a keepsake marriage certificate.
Can Katie marry us with only a few guests?
Yes. The elopement package suits a ceremony of about 10–15 minutes with roughly ten guests, including personal vows, keepsake vow cards and travel within 25km of Mornington.
How personal is the full ceremony?
The Party Starter ceremony runs about 20–30 minutes and is written around your story. It includes two planning meetings, a planning booklet, readings, ideas for rituals and help with your vows.
Does she supply a sound system?
A PA system is supplied with the fuller ceremony packages, and you can use it to play your ceremony music.
Can Katie also MC our reception?
Yes. The Party Continues package pairs the full personalised ceremony with Katie running the reception as MC.
