About The Courtyard @ Notting Hill Hotel
The Notting Hill Hotel, known locally as The Nott, is a pub on Ferntree Gully Road in Notting Hill whose story goes back to 1870. Alongside its Taproom, Steakhouse, Front Bar and a large beer garden, it runs five separate function areas, and The Courtyard is the bright, casual one of the group. The space sits under a glass roof, with patterned floor tiles, hanging greenery, timber barrels used as standing tables and long bench tables for seated groups. It is fully covered and heated, so it works through the cooler months as well as summer. Set up seated it takes 36 guests; as a stand-up party it holds 80. Because it joins the Saloon, a smaller room with stained glass windows and an open fireplace, and the Steakhouse, the courtyard can be combined with either when the guest list grows, and it also makes an easy pre-dinner drinks area for a sit-down meal next door. Functions are planned with the pub's dedicated functions team, who can talk through catering, dietary needs and packages; a function pack can be downloaded from the website and enquiries go through an online form. For much larger events the hotel also offers the Pavilion, The Green and the beer garden, and the whole venue can be hired exclusively.
