The Stan Young Room is the main private function space at the Railway Hotel on Main Street, Pakenham. It is an indoor, climate-controlled room that closes off from the rest of the pub. The room holds 65 guests seated or 80 for a cocktail-style event. It suits formal dining, corporate functions and standing parties, and the venue leaves the styling up to the host. Food comes in three canapé packages at $30, $35 and $40 per person, covering four, five or six finger food choices. For a seated event there are one-course ($40), two-course ($55) and three-course ($65) formal dining options per person. Drinks are bought at bar prices rather than bundled in. A private bartender and a cocktail on arrival can be added, along with an AV pack, a tea and coffee station and tablecloth hire. Gluten-free and vegan choices are available. Entertainment can be arranged too, including a solo or duo live act, a DJ, a photobooth and a photographer.
