About Grandeur in Clyde
Grandeur in Clyde is an event centre on Matterhorn Drive in Clyde North, run by Vel Group. Guests arrive along a red carpet into a lobby with a lift, then through to a single large hall built for receptions and celebrations, with a bar and two private rooms that work as bridal suites or green rooms. The hall seats 350 at round banquet tables, and it can also be set theatre style for formal events. It's dressed with crystal chandeliers and adjustable LED lighting, and has a large stage, a 6.2 by 3 metre LED screen, an LED dance floor, a Bose sound system and Wi-Fi. There are 180 parking spaces on site and more nearby. Weddings, birthdays and milestones, engagements, anniversaries, cultural celebrations and corporate events such as conferences and presentation nights are all hosted here. Packages are priced per person and include venue hire, the screen, dance floor, sound, table setting with centrepieces and the suites. Classic is $109 per person for up to 200 guests or $99 above that, Royal is $119 or $109, and Grandeur is $139 or $125 with welcome drinks. Minimum spends start at $14,900 from Sunday to Friday and $16,900 on Saturday, which also carries a $2,000 surcharge. Catering comes from the in-house kitchen – buffets, plated dining, live food stations and canapés across Australian and South Asian menus – or you can bring your own caterer. Each event runs six hours, with four hours of set-up time included.

Each event runs for six hours, with four hours of set-up time included. Extra hours can be arranged at an additional charge, subject to availability.
What extras can we add?
A DJ is $695, fog and sparkler effects are $395 or $695, a lighting and sound technician is $990 for six hours, and chair covers with sashes are $3 per chair. Security at $60 per hour is mandatory.
