Taylors Lakes Hotel is a hotel and entertainment complex on the Melton Highway in Taylors Lakes. Alongside its bistro, sports bar and cocktail lounge, it runs a dedicated functions business with five event rooms and 58 guest rooms on site. The Starlight Ballroom covers 435 square metres, a large dance floor, a built-in stage and fibre optic lighting. It seats up to 300 for a banquet or holds 400 standing, and operable walls divide it into the Starlight Room and the Courtyard Room. The Courtyard Room is a bright, glass-walled room that opens onto a spacious outdoor courtyard, taking 80 seated or 120 standing. The Atrium suits smaller parties of 70 seated or 100 standing, with a mezzanine bar, lounges and a fireplace, and a portable dance floor and wall lighting on request. There is also a conservatory for 70 and a boardroom for 10. The kitchen works from a modern Australian menu and can set up canapés, grazing and substantial items, a buffet or a seated dinner, with menus adjusted for dietary needs. Cocktail parties choose cold and warm canapés, and a dessert selection can be added. Beverages run on packages, from soft drinks only to premium and platinum options covering 4.5 hours of beer, wine and soft drinks. DJs and live entertainment are welcome, rooms can be themed and decorated, and backdrops, cake plinths and LED signs are available to hire. Events co-ordinators help with menus, room layouts, table settings and audio. Parking is free for every guest and the venue is fully accessible, so send an enquiry to book.
