About Skinny Dog Hotel
Skinny Dog Hotel is a long-running local pub at 155 High Street, Kew, right at Kew Junction. The pub spreads over two levels: downstairs are dining rooms, two bars and a beer garden, while upstairs a light-filled atrium with hanging plants opens to an outdoor terrace. It hosts birthdays, social gatherings, Christmas functions and corporate socials, meetings and workshops, with a tram stop outside on High Street. There are ten bookable areas. At the top end is the combined Terrace, Atrium and Dining Nook upstairs, with an atrium-style roof, plush seating and a large bar, for up to 220 standing. The art deco Private Dining Room has a bi-fold door and mirrored bar for 50 seated or 80 standing, or 150 standing when joined to the Upper Atrium. The Dining Nook seats 24 with rattan furniture, patterned wallpaper and a drinks window, and the awning-covered Terrace takes 50. Downstairs, the brick-walled Bistro seats 40, and exclusive hire of the Beer Garden Bar gives up to 130 guests their own entrance and a covered indoor bar. Food packages include six, eight or ten canapés at $40, $49 and $61 per person, 30-piece platters, savoury or sweet grazing tables at $1,600 for up to 50, and three sit-down menu styles from $69 per person. Drinks run on packages from $53 per person for two hours, a bar tab or, in some areas, a cash bar. Exclusive hire of an area carries a minimum spend, met through food and drink, that varies by day and season.

Great pub with a lot of space for dining in. The food menu is brilliant with plenty of popular pub fare on offer. Grateful to have a room at the back with the Melbourne Storm being played on the screen at the time.

Pretty cool for a Thursday night and good ambience. The calamari was good. Good place to relax with a drink with friends and your partner.
