About Rombe Rooftop
Rombe Rooftop is a restaurant and event venue on the top level of the Burwood Brickworks centre on Middleborough Road. By day it serves an all-day brunch menu built on Victorian produce; for events it opens up three distinct spaces, wrapped in big windows and surrounded by the centre's rooftop garden. Guests park free at Burwood Brickworks and reach the venue by lift or stairs. The main restaurant has the most floor space of the three, with floor-to-ceiling glass, timber furniture and plants throughout; it seats 80 to 100 or holds up to 150 for a cocktail party, and can be closed to the public for a private booking. The Glasshouse is a glass conservatory used for ceremonies and receptions, seating 80 for dinner or 150 standing. Petit House is the intimate option, with room for 30 seated or 50 standing, and suits baby showers, small birthdays, workshops and meetings. Across the three, Rombe takes events from 30 to 200 guests. All food and drink is provided by the venue. The events team offers European-style menus, Asian fusion menus or a custom menu built with the chef, from roaming canapés to seated feasts, with vegetarian and gluten-free options. A dedicated coordinator manages each event, and the in-house florist and pastry team can handle flowers and cakes. Couples and hosts who book the whole venue may decorate it to suit.
