About Prince Mark Hotel
The Prince Mark Hotel is a local pub on Princes Highway in Doveton, with a bistro, a sports bar and free parking on site. Its private function room is called The Front Bar. The Front Bar has an exclusive entrance, its own fully stocked bar and private bathrooms. Two pool tables, AV equipment and a jukebox are built in, and the room takes cocktail parties of up to 100. Packages run for five hours and include food and beverage staff, security as required and use of the jukebox. The $1,000 option comes with four platters, the $1,500 option adds a fifth platter and a $500 bar tab, and the $2,000 option includes eight platters and an $800 bar tab. Platters are priced individually, from Asian bites at $65 to sliders and dessert platters at $100. A mesh balloon backdrop and a digital photo booth can be hired as extras. The venue's licence restricts DJs and live music, so the jukebox handles the soundtrack. A separate bucks package uses the sports bar instead – send an enquiry to book.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests fit in The Front Bar?
The Front Bar takes cocktail parties of up to 100 guests. It has its own entrance, bar and bathrooms, so the group stays separate from the rest of the pub.
Can we bring in a DJ or band?
The venue's licence restricts DJs and live music. The room has a jukebox instead, included in every package.
What does the bucks package include?
The $60 per person package gives four hours in the sports bar, three jugs of beer, a choice of five canapés and unlimited pool and darts. The $65 option lifts that to five jugs and six canapés. A minimum of 15 guests is needed, and the first package can be upgraded to the second canapé selection for $3 per person.
How do bookings and payment work?
A tentative hold lasts seven days, and the booking is confirmed with signed terms, a booking form and a $300 bond. Final numbers, menu choices and full payment are due 14 days before the event.
Can we bring our own food or drinks?
No outside food is allowed apart from an occasion cake, and guests can't bring their own alcohol. Drinks beyond the package bar tab are settled at the end of the night.
