About Mountain View Hotel
The Mountain View Hotel is a pub where Springvale Road meets High Street Road in Glen Waverley. It runs a bistro, a sports bar with pool tables and TAB facilities, and two spaces for private functions, used for birthdays, weddings, business meetings and club events. The Function Room is the private option, holding 120 guests standing or 60 seated. It has an exclusive entry point, a fully stocked bar, private bathrooms, a dance floor, AV facilities including a projector, a spot for a DJ and its own outdoor area. The Sports Lounge handles bigger stand-up events, from 60 up to 200 people. It comes with a large stage, a DJ booth, pool tables, pinball machines, a private entry, its own bar, an outdoor area for smokers and full AV including a projector and Bluetooth music. Packages combine space hire with food and beverage staff, black or white table linen, security, catering platters and a starting bar tab. Platters range from basic and gourmet hot food to mezze, gluten-free, vegetarian, sandwiches, cheese, antipasto, skewers and Asian selections, with extras such as fish and chips, sushi and desserts. Two buffet menus are also offered, one with roast meats and sides and one with soups and hot dishes. Drinks can run on a bar tab with a set limit or as a cash bar, and a digital photo booth can be hired.
