About Matthew Flinders Hotel
Matthew Flinders Hotel is a pub at 667 Warrigal Road in Chadstone, with function rooms behind the bar and bistro. It also has 23 accommodation rooms, which helps when guests are travelling to a wedding or milestone party. There are three function spaces. The Longitude Room takes 700 guests standing or 300 seated, with a private bar, two stage areas, two dance floors, a private entry and an outdoor smoking area. A soundproof wall can split it into a smaller room with one stage and dance floor, for 400 standing or 140 seated. The Victory Room is the other half of that split and takes 300 standing or 120 seated. A boardroom can be set up as a private dining room for a small group. The function pack offers canapé packages, set menus and a buffet, plus platters to top up a minimum spend. Cocktail packages bundle room hire, staff, platters, linen, security and a bar tab to get you started. Drinks can be a three or four hour beverage package or a bar tab. Birthdays, engagements, weddings, corporate events and Christmas parties are all taken, and you send an enquiry to book.
