About Hallam Hotel
The Hallam Hotel has stood on the Princes Highway in Hallam since 1872. Today it runs as a local pub with a family bistro, a lounge bar with a long gold bar and a sports bar with pool tables and a big projector screen, and it hosts private and corporate events in two function areas. The Corner Bar is the main function room, mixing some of the building's heritage character with a modern fit-out. It has a fully stocked bar, its own bathrooms, AV facilities and staging, and takes up to 240 guests cocktail-style or 90 seated, so it works for anything from a seminar to a big birthday party. The Mezzanine Lounge is a semi-private space suited to smaller birthdays, work drinks and networking, served with platters and drinks packages; because of where it sits in the venue it is for guests aged 18 and over. For cocktail parties in The Corner Bar there are three packages, each covering five hours with food and beverage staff, a security guard, a cake and gifts table, platters of your choice and a bar tab to start the night; the Gold and Premium packages add a DJ. Platters include party pies and sausage rolls, pizzas, yum cha, seafood, antipasto and vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Seated groups of 40 to 80 can choose a self-service three-course buffet with soup, carvery meats, hot dishes and desserts, which runs for about two hours at lunch or dinner on any day.
