About Function Room @ Glengala Hotel
Glengala Hotel is a local pub on Glengala Road in Sunshine with a family bistro, a sports bar, 11 guest rooms and a private function room. The room hosts birthdays, engagements, weddings, Christmas and end-of-year parties, sporting club nights and corporate sessions, and there is plenty of parking on site. The Function Room has a fully stocked private bar, a dance floor, a wall-mounted TV, a projector and screen, Bluetooth audio and a microphone. It takes up to 100 guests cocktail style and 60 to 70 for a seated meal, and can be set up boardroom, classroom, theatre or U-shape for meetings. With guest rooms in the same building, out-of-town guests can stay the night after the party. There are two ways to cater. Cocktail packages run for five hours and include staff, roaming security, a cake and present table, AV and a choice of platters with a bar tab to start the night: $1,500 covers four platters and a $400 tab for around 40 guests, $2,000 brings six platters and a $600 tab for around 60, and $2,500 gives eight platters and an $850 tab for around 80. For a seated event, the set menu is $50 per person for two courses or $60 for three, with two choices per course served alternately, for at least 20 guests. Extra platters such as sliders, seafood, yum cha or dips can be ordered alongside, and dietary needs are handled with notice.
