About Carlucci's
Carlucci's is a family-run Italian restaurant on the corner of James and Anderson streets in Templestowe, open seven days from breakfast through dinner. The kitchen turns out homestyle pasta, pizza, parmas and grills in generous serves. For group events, the restaurant has a covered outdoor marquee with heaters for the cooler months and water misters for summer. It seats up to 60 at long tables, and a large outdoor projector is used for movies and live sport. Inside, a semi-private section of the dining room suits smaller seated functions. Both areas are set up for sit-down meals rather than stand-up parties. Groups of more than 20 order from the set menu, which starts with shared charcuterie, golden calamari and garlic and mozzarella pizzas. Guests then choose a main of chicken parmigiana, beer-battered flathead, beef ragu with fettuccine, spaghetti marinara or a pumpkin and mushroom risotto. The set menu is $45 per person from Monday to Friday and $55 per person on weekends, and it can be adjusted for gluten-free, dairy-free or vegetarian guests. An optional drinks package adds Italian whites and reds, prosecco, jugs of house lager and soft drinks for $15 per person. The kitchen bakes whole cakes in house with a custom chocolate plaque, and there is no cake fee when a group is on the set menu. Send an enquiry to book.

Can we bring our own cake?
Yes. A $2 per person cake fee normally applies, but it is waived for groups on the set menu. The restaurant also bakes whole cakes, such as cheesecake, carrot cake and a zeppole doughnut cake, with a custom chocolate plaque.
Is the marquee comfortable in winter and summer?
The marquee is undercover and heated in the cooler months, and water misters run in summer. It is used year-round.
