About Bridie O'Reilly's
Bridie O'Reilly's is an Irish pub at 462 Chapel Street in South Yarra, pouring Guinness and Kilkenny alongside a long list of local and imported beers, with live sport on the screens and live music on Friday nights. The pub runs hundreds of functions each year and has two private areas for events, from work functions and birthday parties to end-of-year celebrations. The beer garden is the main function space. It sits behind the pub with a retractable roof and heaters, so it can be used through the year, and it has its own barbecue facilities. Set up for a sit-down dinner it seats up to 120, and standing for cocktails it fits as many as 200. Inside, the pub has a timber bar, booth seating and a separate dining area, and the functions team can tailor the set-up to the group. The kitchen covers Irish dishes such as lamb stew, beef and Guinness pie and bangers and mash, alongside parmas, steaks, burgers, pizzas, share plates and desserts, with vegan and gluten-free choices marked on the menu. Drinks include Guinness, Irish and Australian tap beers, ciders, a wine list with sparkling, white, rosé and red by the glass or bottle, and non-alcoholic beers. To plan an event, send the function enquiry form with your date and numbers and the team will come back to talk through the details.
