About Thrive Flowers & Events
Thrive Flowers & Events has been designing flowers for weddings, events and corporate spaces since 2005. Founded and directed by Alyssa Goodall, a member of the Sustainable Floristry Network, the team brings together qualified floral designers, decorators, planners and stylists, working from a warehouse in Moorabbin with consultations also held at its Collingwood space, Beneath The Ferns. For events, the team designs everything from ceiling and aerial installations to backdrops, dried-flower pieces and table arrangements, using fresh seasonal blooms shaped to your brief or brand. A dedicated client liaison manages the job, site visits are welcome, and the florists handle bump-in, set-up and late-night pack-down. There's no minimum spend for events. Wedding clients get a consultation with a qualified florist, an itemised quote with a vision board, deliveries to both families on the morning, and set-up at the ceremony and reception. Bouquets, flowers to wear, reception pieces, installations and backdrops are all covered, and glassware, backdrops and ceremony arbours can be hired and added to the quote. Thrive also styles hens parties. The florists prefer local growers and only use trusted farms when a colour or variety has to come from further afield. Consultations can be in person, by phone or on Google Meet, and email enquiries are answered within 24 hours.

Frequently asked questions
Does Thrive Flowers & Events have a minimum spend?
No. The events page says there's no minimum spend, and the former $2,000 wedding minimum has been dropped to help couples planning micro and smaller weddings.
Will the florists set up and pack down at our venue?
Yes. Thrive works out delivery and set-up times directly with your venue, then comes back late at night to pack down and pick up any hired vases.
Can we hire vases, backdrops or arbours?
Yes. The team recommends glassware to suit your style and includes the hire price in your quote, and also hires backdrops and ceremony arbours. A refundable bond applies if you return items yourself.
Do we need to meet in person?
No. Consultations can be held face to face at Moorabbin or Collingwood, by phone or over Google Meet, and many couples organise everything remotely.
What kinds of event flowers does Thrive design?
Everything from ceiling installations, aerial designs and backdrops to dried-flower pieces and table arrangements, for weddings, corporate functions, galas and other events.
