About Blooming Events
Blooming Events is a florist studio in Keysborough run by Carol-Anne Webb, who has spent more than 25 years working with flowers. She studied art and design at Lorien Novalis, and a family background in art and music shapes her eye for colour and texture. Alongside everyday bouquets and gift arrangements, the studio designs flowers for weddings, engagements, milestone birthdays and other celebrations. Wedding work is built around two bridal packages. Each one bundles the bride's bouquet, bouquets for the bridesmaids and buttonholes for the groom and groomsmen, so the whole bridal party is covered in one booking. The Ivory & Blush seasonal package uses the blooms in season at the time, while the Ivory Rose package centres on cream roses. Beyond personal flowers, the studio's gallery shows ceremony aisle runners, long bridal-table garlands of roses and greenery, and orchid-heavy arrangements set among candles. Planning starts with a free one-hour consultation. The wedding enquiry form asks for the event date, an approximate budget, the colour theme, how many bridesmaids there are and how many lapel flowers are needed, which gives Carol-Anne what she needs to put together a proposal. The palette in the portfolio leans towards whites, ivory and blush, but the shop's arrangements also show bold reds, pinks and purples. The studio is open weekdays and Saturday mornings, with Sunday visits by appointment, and it delivers across Keysborough and the surrounding south-east suburbs.
