About Sounds Allwright Entertainment
Sounds Allwright Entertainment is the business of DJ Paul, a Cranbourne-based DJ and MC who has been playing events since 2002. His approach goes beyond pressing play: he chats with the crowd, runs the formalities with a light, witty touch and adjusts the music to whoever is on the dance floor. Weddings are a big part of the work. Couples plan the playlist with Paul beforehand, and the first dance can be given a low-lying cloud of dry ice for a fairytale look. Paul also dresses up for theme parties and runs icebreakers such as the chair game to get guests mixing. Birthdays of every age, kids' discos, school formals, valedictories and grade 6 graduations are regular bookings too. For work functions, from dinners and presentation nights to store openings and Christmas parties, the kit can stretch to sound for up to 500 people, wireless handheld, headset and lapel microphones, coloured up-lighting and a projected company name or logo. The paperwork is in order: public liability and equipment insurance, Working with Children Checks and first aid training for staff, and cables and gear that are maintained and test-tagged. An attended photo booth with props and backdrops can be added to a DJ booking, and every event is quoted to suit, so send an enquiry to book.
