About Vibe Entertainment Company

Vibe Entertainment Company is a Melbourne entertainment business started in 2011 by managing director Stephen Kipa, who took up DJing and MCing as a teenager. His wife Sheereen runs the client side as entertainment manager, and the roster has grown to a team of DJs, MCs and live performers who work weddings, private functions and corporate events. The DJ is at the centre of most bookings. You talk through your music beforehand and the DJ helps shape the playlist, then mixes on the night to keep the dance floor moving for guests of different ages and tastes. Many of the team's DJs also act as master of ceremonies, so the same person can handle introductions, housekeeping announcements and speeches, keep the run sheet on track and liaise with venue staff behind the scenes. For a bigger sound, live players can perform over the DJ or as a separate act: saxophonists, percussionists, bouzouki players, singers and acoustic duos or trios, along with roving dancers, magicians and caricaturists. That range suits cultural celebrations as well as weddings and engagements. The add-ons list covers a photo booth (including a GIF booth), an audio guest book where guests leave spoken messages by phone, 1.2-metre light-up LOVE letters and numbers for milestone birthdays, dry ice for a first dance, cold-spark fountains, CO2 effects, smoke and upgraded lighting. Performance Details

A DJ booking includes the DJ's own sound system and lighting, with music planned with you before the event and mixed live on the night.
