About Front Row Entertainment
Front Row Entertainment is a Melbourne entertainment company founded by DJ Nathan Trifonidis, known behind the decks as DJ Trifo. He began DJing at 13 at birthday parties and went on to hold residencies at Melbourne clubs before building the business, which started out supplying DJs for local events and weekly bar shows and now concentrates on weddings and corporate functions. The DJ service is the core of most bookings. Each DJ arrives with a professional sound system, event lighting and a wireless microphone, and the team sends a run sheet so you can list ceremony songs, the bridal party entrance, the first dance and any must-play or do-not-play tracks. On the day the DJ works with the venue, the MC and other suppliers so every cue lands on time. Corporate DJs also look after microphone levels and help speakers use the mic properly. MCs can be booked alongside the DJ. The package covers an experienced host, speakers and wireless mics, an event questionnaire and a briefing before the day, and the MC arrives early for a sound check. For live music there are acoustic duos for the ceremony and cocktail hour, saxophone players who can play over a DJ set, violinists, celebrants and a bouzouki player for Greek and Mediterranean celebrations. Extras include photo booths in classic print-strip and digital formats, dry ice for a first dance on the clouds, indoor fireworks, CO2 guns, giant light-up LOVE letters, sound and lighting hire, and event photography. Send the details through the booking request form and an event manager gets back to you with a quote.

Frequently asked questions
What comes with a Front Row DJ booking?
The DJ package includes an experienced DJ, a professional sound system, event lighting and a wireless microphone. For weddings you fill in a run sheet with the songs for each key moment, and the DJ liaises with the venue, the MC and other suppliers.
Can we book an MC as well as a DJ?
Yes. The MC service includes an experienced host, speakers suited to the event, wireless microphones, an event questionnaire and a briefing beforehand. Wedding MCs act as the contact point for the venue, DJ and photographer, and corporate MCs follow your event brief.
What live musicians are available?
Acoustic duos for the ceremony and cocktail hour, saxophone players who can play alongside the DJ during the reception, violin players and a bouzouki player performing traditional Greek songs and modern arrangements. Performers can learn specific songs on request.
How does photo booth hire work?
Packages include a backdrop of your choice, props and free delivery, setup and pick-up, with the booth set up one to two hours before guests arrive. Classic booths print photo strips and digital booths send photos to guests' phones. Minimum hire is four hours; ask about an attendant when booking.
What special effects can be added?
Dry ice or low fog for dancing on the clouds during the first dance, indoor fireworks that can be fired several times through the night, and CO2 guns that shoot blasts up to 7 metres. A trained operator runs every effect and works with the venue on its rules.
