About Little Party Faces
Little Party Faces is a Melbourne children's entertainment business that sends costumed characters to birthdays held at home, at a hall or outdoors in a park. The line-up runs from princesses and fairies to superheroes, mascots and a firefighter host, and every performer holds a Working with Children Check and is covered by public liability insurance. The core offer is the character party. The one-hour Bite Size package has the character tell a story, lead dancing and singalongs, perform a little magic and run classic games such as pass the parcel, musical statues with bubbles, the rainbow parachute and limbo, before starting the cake song. The one-and-a-half-hour Premium package adds either face painting or balloon twisting for every guest. Both can be booked with one, two or three performers depending on how many children are coming. Face painting is also sold on its own by the hour, using water-based, non-toxic paints and cosmetic-grade glitter, with an option to add gems or to have the painter arrive in character. Glitter tattoos and airbrush tattoos are priced the same way. For something bigger, the team offers a Junior Firefighter party with a real fire truck and joy rides, mascot visits, and a two-hour glamour pamper party for girls aged around seven to ten. Performers bring battery-powered speakers and all the gear for the activities, so hosts mainly need to provide enough room to move, shade or shelter, and a table with two chairs for face painting. Party add-ons include themed favour boxes, digital invitations, disco lights and a smoke machine.

The one-hour Bite Size package is $295 with one performer for up to 20 children, $525 with two and $765 with three. The 1.5-hour Premium package with face painting or balloons starts at $335. Prices include GST, and a travel fee is added.
Can I book face painting without a character party?
Yes. Face painting is booked by the hour, from $200 for one hour covering up to 10 faces, rising to $400 for three hours and 30 faces. Gems can be added, and a painter can arrive in a themed costume for an extra charge.
Do the entertainers need a power point?
No. The performers carry portable, battery-operated Bluetooth speakers and bring everything needed for the activities in your package, so parties can run at home, in a park or at another venue.
What do I need to set up for the face painter?
Provide one adult-sized table and two chairs so the painter can lay out the kit and sit comfortably, keep the performer out of the weather, and set balloon twisting up in a shaded spot so balloons don't pop.
Are the performers checked and insured?
Every Little Party Faces performer holds a Victorian Working with Children Check and full public liability insurance, and the entertainers are trained in house before they start working at parties.
