About Balloonatic Bruce
Balloonatic Bruce, who trades as Balloon Antics, is a Melbourne children's entertainer combining two acts in one: comedy magic and balloon twisting. He has been performing at kids' parties for around 30 years and comes to your home, hall or park. The show is built on participation. Children are pulled into the tricks, the birthday child gets a special helper role, and Bruce adjusts his pace to suit toddlers through to primary school kids. The star of the longer shows is Ally Kazam, a real rabbit who appears to turn into a balloon and back again. After the show there is supervised time for the birthday child and friends to pat her and take photos. Balloon work goes well past the usual dogs and swords. Bruce twists animals, superheroes, creatures and wearable hats in front of the children, and in the one-hour package every child goes home with a balloon model made for them. There are three set packages: a 30-minute magic show for younger children, a 45-minute deluxe show with the rabbit, and a one-hour show split between magic and balloon twisting. Bruce also performs as a professional Santa for Christmas gatherings and works school fetes and community festivals with roving balloon twisting. He holds a Working With Children Check and public liability insurance, and arrives early to set up. Send an enquiry with your date, suburb and number of children to check availability.
