A character arrives in full costume and hosts the party, taking the children through interactive games, dancing and sing-alongs, a few simple magic tricks and plenty of photo moments. There are three character packages. The one-hour package includes balloon twisting along with the games and music, the 90-minute option lets you choose face painting or balloon twisting, and the two-hour package includes both. Each package covers up to 20 children, including the birthday child, and finishes with a small gift. Mascot bookings are also offered: a 30-minute appearance with a party host, or a one-hour hosted session featuring a 40-minute mascot visit with bubbles and games. The team suggests booking the entertainer to arrive about half an hour after the party begins, so guests have time to arrive. Food usually works well during the face painting or balloon part of the session, with the cake left for the final stretch so everyone can gather for photos. For outdoor parties, a large rug and a shaded spot are recommended, and the entertainer brings everything else. Every performer carries a valid Working With Children Check plus public liability insurance, and copies can be supplied before the event.
