About Wwave Audio Visual
Wwave Audio Visual has been hiring event equipment out of Kensington since 2002. Its range covers audio, vision, lighting, rigging, staging and event power, and the staff include A-grade electricians and riggers, so installs such as hanging chandeliers or running power to a marquee are handled in-house. On the audio side you can hire portable battery PAs for speeches, party speaker packages, microphones and full systems run by technicians. Vision covers tripod screens and projectors, large TVs and stands. Lighting is where Wwave stands apart from a typical speaker shop: incandescent festoon lighting, fancy filament globes and lanterns, fairy-light ceilings, chandeliers from simple brass pieces to 18-arm crystal designs, chiffon draping, uplighting, gobos and disco effects with mirror balls, moving heads and smoke machines. You can collect smaller items after a demonstration of how they work, or have the team deliver, install and pack down. Delivery and labour are quoted once the gear list is settled, since they depend on the equipment, location and crew required. For larger jobs the team can draw up 3D and CAD plans so you can see the layout before bump-in. Wwave handles weddings, birthday parties, galas, conferences, presentation nights and product launches. Support is available almost around the clock while gear is on hire, with phones diverted after hours.

Can I pick up equipment myself?
Yes. Wwave does both deliveries and customer pick-ups, and staff like to demonstrate how everything works at collection so the hire goes smoothly.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is worked out in your quote because it depends on the equipment, the location and the labour needed. Delivery and installation are charged, not included.
Can Wwave install festoons or chandeliers at my wedding?
Yes. The team has electricians and riggers who install and remove chandelier displays, festoon droppers, fairy-light ceilings and draping in marquees and function rooms.
What happens if something goes wrong during the hire?
You can reach Wwave nearly 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as office phones divert to mobile after hours. They will talk you through a fix or arrange a replacement.
Do you only dry hire?
No. Alongside dry hire, Wwave supplies equipment delivered and operated by its own engineers and technicians as a package for larger events.
