SoundSupply Audio Visual Hires has been supplying affordable sound from Hoppers Crossing since 2014. It specialises in point-source PA systems, lighting and event installs, and the gear is chosen to be simple enough for anyone to set up without experience. Packages make it easy. The Starter Party Package pairs two 15-inch speakers on stands with a small mixer, a derby light and a laser for 80 to 100 guests. The Party Package moves up to QSC K12 speakers with a GigBar, fog machine and wash lights for about 150 people, and the Complete Sound System adds 18-inch subs for 250 to 300. Single items are also available: battery PAs, QSC, JBL, RCF and Yamaha speakers, subwoofers, Pioneer controllers and CDJ packages, wireless microphones, moving heads, lasers, cold spark, dry ice, foam and bubble machines, festoons, projectors and a 4 x 3 metre stage. Hires run for 24 hours, with extra days from $10, and no deposit is needed to confirm. At pick-up you pay the hire fee and bond and show ID, and the team demonstrates how everything connects. Collection is by appointment, while delivery, setup and pack-down are available for an added cost. Support is on hand by phone or FaceTime before and during the event. Bookings are made directly by phone or email, which lets the team match the gear to your guest numbers and venue.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
No deposit is required to confirm a booking. The hire fee, a bond and a form of ID such as a driver's licence are needed at collection.
How much is the bond?
Bonds start at $100, usually around $200 for bigger lights and $300 for a speaker system. It is returned once the equipment comes back in the condition it left.
How long is a hire?
Hires run for a 24-hour period, and extra days can be added from $10. The team is flexible with pick-up and return times by appointment.
Will the gear fit in my car?
Most equipment fits in a standard sedan. If your order won't, SoundSupply will tell you before collection, and delivery and setup can be booked instead.
What if I'm not sure how to set it up?
Staff give a full demonstration of how to set up and run your system at pick-up or on site, and offer support by phone or FaceTime throughout the hire.
