Event Hire Solutions is a sound and lighting hire business run from a warehouse in Highett by Tate, a DJ and event organiser with more than 15 years of experience. The focus is easy-to-use gear at sharp local prices, with optional delivery, installation and collection across Melbourne. The sound range starts with the Silver package, a 2.1 system with stands and cables suited to speeches, weddings and smaller parties. The Gold package steps up to a Turbosound Milan kit of two 1100-watt tops and two 2200-watt subs with an eight-channel mixer, enough for around 100 to 250 people depending on the space. For bigger crowds, a modular upgrade adds long-throw 18-inch subs. DJs can hire a Pioneer CDJ 2000 and DJM 900 Nexus package pre-wired in a road case. Lighting and effects include mini moving heads, RGB lasers, smoke and haze machines and 3 x 3 metre lighting truss, and a 6 x 4 metre stage is available. Every item comes with its cables and spares. For a fuss-free night, the party-ready package bundles the Nexus decks, the Turbosound system, a DJ monitor, truss, moving heads, par cans, lasers and a smoke machine, delivered, installed and given basic DMX programming. Prices are for the first day, with reduced rates for extra days.
