About Caitlin Amy Photography
Caitlin Amy is a wedding photographer with an easy, fun approach: she prefers honest snapshots of you with your friends and family over hours of forced posing. Her favourite images are colourful, romantic and back-lit, and she edits light and bright with warm tones. She admits to crying at most ceremonies and speeches. The Hunter Valley features heavily in her real weddings. The blog includes celebrations at Greystone Estate, Peterson House Chapel with a marquee reception, Bimbadgen Palmers Lane, Redleaf at Wollombi, St Patricks at Nulkaba, Stonehurst Cedar Creek, Circa 1876 and Wallalong House, where a styled shoot made the cover of a regional wedding magazine. She also runs elopements in the valley together with celebrant Jaya Bargwanna, covering both the ceremony and the photos. Every collection starts with a planning session, and Caitlin keeps in touch throughout to help with ceremony and photo timings. The Half Day collection gives five hours and 300 to 500 images, All Day runs from getting ready to the first dance, and All Day plus Late Night Party adds a second photographer, an engagement session option and a Queensberry album. There is also an all-day photo and video collection with a 5 to 7 minute short film. Galleries usually arrive within three to six weeks, with full print release and a raw wood print box.

Frequently asked questions
Does Caitlin Amy Photography offer video?
Yes. The All Day Photo + Video collection includes one photographer and one videographer, a 5 to 7 minute short film and preview images within 48 hours, with full ceremony, first dance and audio edits as an optional add-on.
How long until we receive our wedding photos?
Turnaround is usually three to six weeks depending on workload. Images come fully processed in high resolution with print release.
How do we reserve our date?
Once your venue is locked in, a $900 non-refundable deposit secures the date and is taken off the final balance. A reservation form with terms is sent first.
Can we have two photographers?
Yes, it is up to you. A second photographer adds more guest angles and can cover the groom getting ready before the ceremony. One is included in the All Day + Late Night Party collection.
Do you photograph elopements in the Hunter Valley?
Yes. The elopement collection gives one or two hours of coverage, and Caitlin partners with a celebrant to offer ceremony and photos together in the Hunter Valley.
