About Thierry Boudan Photography
Thierry Boudan, whose name is pronounced Tee-air-ree, is a wedding photographer who grew up in Mauritius and has photographed more than 1,500 weddings, many of them across the Hunter Valley. His background in magazine work shows in the composition, but the approach on the day is quiet and documentary: real reactions, packed dance floors and the moments nobody planned, with simple direction for portraits and family groups. Local venue knowledge is a large part of the offer. The site carries guides and real weddings from Adams Peak at Broke, Peterson House, Peppers Creek, Mindaribba, Hunter Valley Gardens, Circa 1876, Bimbadgen, Chateau Elan, Krinklewood, Margan, Spicers Vineyards, Wandin Estate and Tocal Homestead, among many others. That helps with timings, sunset portrait windows and plan B spots when the weather turns. The studio works as a small team with Thierry, Wayne and Pat. Beyond photography, it offers wedding films with a candid feel and a content creator who follows the day from getting ready to the end of formalities, uploading unedited photos and clips by the following day for sharing. Couples receive a private online gallery of fully edited high-resolution images that guests can download, with custom albums designed from your favourites. Engagement sessions are available, and Thierry helps build a photography timeline before the day.

Does Thierry Boudan Photography offer wedding videography?
Yes. Wedding films are available as part of packages alongside photography, and the studio also offers a content creator for fast behind-the-scenes clips. The discount for booking photo and video together is built into the packages.
How long until we get our wedding photos?
The aim is around four weeks, though it can stretch to 12 weeks in the busiest seasons. Photos arrive in a private online gallery that is easy to share with family and friends.
How many images are delivered?
Most couples receive somewhere between 500 and 1200 fully edited images, depending on the day, the locations and how events unfold.
What does it take to book?
You sign an agreement and pay half the photography fee up front, or $500 to secure videography. A quick chat beforehand is welcome to check you are a good fit.
Can you photograph an engagement session in the Hunter Valley?
They are. Thierry offers engagement shoots as a relaxed way to get used to the camera before the wedding, and they can be shot at a location you choose.
