About Florent Vidal Photography
Florent Vidal Photography is a husband-and-wife studio. Florent, who is French and came to weddings from landscape photography, shoots every wedding, while Angel looks after enquiries and works as the full-time second photographer. The style is documentary: Florent blends into the day, watches for unscripted moments and thinks carefully about the way light, setting and framing work together. The Hunter Valley is one of the studio's regular destinations, with a dedicated page naming Pokolbin, Lovedale and Broke. Its journal features a wedding at The Woodhouse in Wollombi and an intimate autumn wedding at Margan Wines in Broke, where the couple had portraits among the vines below the Brokenback Range before dinner in the barrel room. Couples have also written in after weddings at Hunter Valley Gardens, Calvin Estate, Peppers Creek Chapel, Peterson House and Oaks Cypress Lakes. Collections are named after places in Paris. A two-hour elopement is $1,990, three hours is $2,490, six hours with drone photography is $3,490, eight hours is $3,990 and ten hours is $4,490. Every collection includes a planning meeting, unlimited photos on the day, full-resolution edited images and a private online gallery, and the hourly packages add keepsake art prints. A travel fee may apply depending on the location. Engagement shoots and proposals are offered too, and albums can be ordered. Florent helps couples build the timeline so portraits fall in the softest light of the day, with golden hour the favourite.
