About Mr Hendrix Photography
Mr Hendrix Photography is led by James Howarth, a full-time wedding and engagement photographer who arrived via England and New Zealand and named the business after one of his sons. His style is documentary and art-led: he looks for creative, honest frames and keeps the mood light so even camera-shy couples relax. James works with a small group of photographers, Kate Olivia, Jaden Cavanagh and Chris Perkins, who share the same unposed approach. That means a second shooter can join for extra coverage when a day has several locations or a big guest list, from a single extra hour to the whole day. Couples marrying in the Hunter Valley are a clear focus. The site speaks directly to Hunter Valley couples, shares local venue and entertainment ideas, and says James particularly loves travelling for stories in the valley. Packages are tailored rather than fixed, running from a few hours to a full day so couples only pay for the coverage they need, and installment payments can be arranged. Engagement sessions can be shot wherever suits you, whether at a park, a beach or at home. Finished galleries come with no set image cap, and albums are custom made in a range of sizes, linens and leathers. A photo booth with prints, props and a guest book can be added for the reception through a related family-run booth business.

Tailored packages start from $2800, and most couples spend around $3,500 to $4,500 to cover getting ready through to the dance floor.
How many photos will we get?
There is no set number. Every image of your treasured moments that meets the standard is delivered rather than capped at a count.
How long do the photos take?

Can we pay our wedding photography off in instalments?

Can we add a second photographer?
Yes. The team includes several photographers, and extra coverage can be booked from a single additional hour up to the full day.
