About SteelCityBooths
SteelCityBooths is a photo booth hire business run by Amani Boudan from Kotara, focused on Newcastle and the Hunter Valley and willing to travel anywhere in NSW. It supplies open-air booths for weddings, birthdays, school formals, work functions and parties of all kinds. There is just one booth package, which keeps booking simple. It runs for three hours and includes instant printed photos, photos texted to guests' phones, a strip design made for your event, your pick of backdrop and an online gallery of every shot once the night is over. Each strip carries three photos stacked vertically, with names, a date, a venue or a logo underneath, and there is no cap on how many prints guests take. Photos are taken on a Canon EOS M50 with eye-tracking focus, lit by a professional flash and printed on a dye-sublimation printer. An attendant comes with every booking, arriving about two hours ahead to set up, then handing out props and encouraging guests through the night before packing down. The set-up needs a space of roughly 3 by 3 metres and can go upstairs or outdoors under cover. Cold spark fountains are offered as a separate package, and guest books in white and gold, wooden or white styles come with gold and silver Sharpies for messages beside the photos. The business carries public liability insurance.

How much does SteelCityBooths cost?
The package is $650 for three hours, and each extra hour is $100. If you want the booth set up early and waiting before it opens, idle time is charged at $50 an hour.
Is there a travel fee to the Hunter Valley?
Travel is free within 100 kilometres of Newcastle, which covers Pokolbin, Cessnock, Maitland and Singleton. Venues further out are quoted on location.
What's included in the package?
An attendant, props, unlimited instant prints, a custom strip design, texted photos, a backdrop of your choice and an online gallery of all the photos after the event.
How much room does the booth need?
About 3 by 3 metres. It can be set up upstairs, and outdoors as long as there is cover to protect the equipment from heat and rain.
How do we pay?
A 50 per cent non-refundable booking fee secures the date, and the balance is due at least two weeks before the event, by bank transfer or credit card.
