About Another Shot Photo Booth
Another Shot Photo Booth, based in Newcastle, lists Hunter Valley weddings among its regular work. It was set up by James Howarth, who shoots weddings through Mr Hendrix Photography, so the aim is pictures that look properly lit while the booth itself stays light-hearted. The booth is an open-air design with a retro look, shooting DSLR-quality pictures lit by a strong studio flash. Hats, heart-shaped sunglasses and speech-bubble signs fill the prop table, and an 8 ft by 8 ft backdrop gives room for a whole group. Backdrop choices include galaxy, sequins, palms, frangipani, white rose, snowflakes, Christmas fir, disco and silver or gold shimmer, and custom prints can be made. An attendant comes with every package to set up, help guests and look after the equipment. Prints are unlimited, on 2 x 6 inch strips carrying your own design, a QR code lets guests send photos to their phones, and an edited online gallery follows the event. Bring your own props or backdrop if you like, but check the backdrop size with the team first. Packages run for three, four or five hours, and a guest book can be added to collect strips and messages for the couple or guest of honour. The booth needs a clear floor area of roughly three metres each way, plus access to power.
