About WOW Flowers
WOW Flowers is the floristry arm of Worn Out Wares, a family-owned business on George Street in Singleton. The shop sells gift flowers and homewares, but the studio's main work is weddings and events, and its portfolio reads like a tour of Hunter venues: Adams Peak Country Estate and Krinklewood at Broke, Peppers Creek, Piggs Peake and voco Kirkton Park around Pokolbin, Leaves & Fishes at Lovedale and The Woodhouse at Wollombi. For weddings, the team designs everything from the bridal bouquet and bridesmaids' flowers to flower girl baskets, ceremony arbours, table arrangements and overhead greenery. Booking follows a clear path. You fill in the online wedding enquiry with as much detail as you can, the studio rings to go through the finer points, and a custom quote follows. A date-holding deposit locks you in, the team reviews final details with you about a month before the wedding, and then they arrive on the day to set up. Events and corporate work are handled the same way, starting from your brief. Past jobs include a private event at Brokenwood, an event at Irongate Estate, a 40th birthday and several styled photoshoots, and the studio also works with local hire and styling companies when a day needs more than flowers. The team is led by founder Louise Christensen and senior florist Anna Maguire. Flowers are bought from a range of suppliers rather than one wholesaler, consultations are by appointment, and the store is open Monday to Saturday. Floral and creative art workshops run in the studio through the year.
