About Edwards & Day
Edwards & Day is a floristry partnership between Jenna Edwards and Amy Day, who met at floristry school and turned a shared love of flowers into a business focused on weddings and events. One side of the team, they say, favours minimal, organic designs in gentle neutral tones, while the other is drawn to strong colour and more extravagant pieces, so couples with quite different tastes can find a fit. Both came to flowers from careers in education and social work, and they put that background to use in how they plan: lots of conversation, close collaboration and an understanding of how much a wedding means to the people paying for it. They describe talking as one of their strengths, and their process starts with a chat about what you have in mind, or about where to begin if you have no firm picture yet. For weddings, they can style the complete ceremony and reception, or keep things simple with bouquets only. Their gallery shows timber arbours dressed in white roses and greenery, bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, floral sprays on welcome and seating signs, and flowers placed on wedding cakes. Event work covers everything from a relaxed birthday party to a large corporate function, with arrangements designed to suit the size of the event and the space. A range of hire items is also available to sit alongside the flowers. The team works from a base in Lorn and travels throughout the Hunter Valley for weddings and events.
