About East Maitland Florist
East Maitland Florist is a locally owned shop on High Street, East Maitland, run by owner Annette with two senior florists. Its bridal studio is where most of the event work begins, and it is set up for couples planning wedding flowers from scratch. You start by booking a consultation through the online form, which asks for your date, colours and theme, or by phone. The consultant then talks through which flowers will be in season, the style you like and what will sit well with your venue, theme and gown. The designers work in traditional and modern styles, and each wedding package is tailored to what you ask for rather than picked off a set menu. Delivery is handled in-house. The shop runs its own air-conditioned van, so arrangements stay fresh and arrive on time, and it covers more than 120 suburbs, from Maitland, Morpeth and Lochinvar to Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Lovedale, Pokolbin and Branxton. The wedding page notes that the vineyards are included. The shop also designs custom pieces for anniversaries, birthdays and other milestones, supplies weekly corporate arrangements to offices, and carries plants and gifts. As an Interflora member it can arrange deliveries further afield too. Opening hours are 9am to 4pm on weekdays, with appointments available outside those times.

Frequently asked questions
How do I start planning wedding flowers with East Maitland Florist?
Book an appointment at the bridal studio, either through the form on the wedding page or by phone. You can share your date, colours and theme beforehand so the consultant can plan around them.
Do they deliver to Hunter Valley wedding venues?
Yes. Their own courier delivers across the lower Hunter, including the vineyards, and the delivery list covers more than 120 suburbs such as Pokolbin, Lovedale, Cessnock and Branxton.
What styles can they do?
Traditional, modern or something between the two. The designers match the flowers to your venue, theme and dress, and advise on what is available in season.
How much do wedding flowers cost?
Wedding packages are tailored and quoted after the consultation. For a quote, send your date, venue, guest numbers and the pieces you need, such as bouquets, buttonholes and table arrangements.
Do they supply corporate flowers?
Yes. Weekly arrangements for offices and reception areas start from $75 a week, which includes vase hire and local delivery.
