About Sugar Bee Flowers
Founded by creative director Youki, Sugar Bee Flowers is a small floral studio in Coldstream with more than a decade of weddings in the Yarra Valley behind it. The team designs bridal bouquets, ceremony installations and reception florals, working in season with growers they know by name. The studio is entirely foam-free, so arrangements are built with reusable mechanics and kept in water on the day. Most installations and table pieces are made in the Coldstream workshop first, then brought to the venue, set up within about an hour and given final touches. The studio takes a single wedding per date. Its team delivers bouquets to the getting-ready location before the photographer arrives, moves ceremony pieces through to the reception, lights the candles and stays on standby in case weather forces a late change of location. Blossom canopies and hanging greenery over long tables have become a signature at venues such as Stones of the Yarra Valley, and the studio is a preferred supplier at several estates around Coldstream, Yarra Glen and Healesville. Outside weddings, Sugar Bee creates florals for launches, openings and corporate functions, plus smaller pieces for birthdays and dinner parties that are delivered and collected afterwards. Pricing
Full-service weddings from October to April, or with more than 30 guests, carry a $4,400 minimum, and typical wedding budgets run from about $7,000 to $15,000. Each wedding is quoted after a consultation.
Service Details
Wedding party bouquets and buttonholes can be ordered directly in four palettes with at least four weeks' notice. Event pieces for private celebrations are delivered and collected, and corporate clients can brief the studio for launches or regular arrangements.

Is there a minimum spend for weddings?
A minimum of $4,400 applies to full-service weddings between October and April and to any wedding of more than 30 guests. Intimate weddings, May to September dates and wedding party flowers have no minimum.
How far ahead should we book Sugar Bee Flowers?
Couples usually secure the studio 12 to 16 months ahead, with the busiest stretch running from September to May. A 25% deposit confirms your date once your quote is approved.
Does the studio use floral foam?
No. Sugar Bee is completely foam-free and builds its installations with reusable mechanics and water sources, which keeps micro-plastics out of its work.
Can our ceremony flowers be reused at the reception?
Yes. The team moves ceremony pieces through to the reception, where they can frame the dance floor or the bridal table depending on the venue's floor plan.
Do they do flowers for events other than weddings?
Yes. Sugar Bee dresses launches, openings and corporate functions, and offers vase, flat and statement arrangements for birthdays and dinner parties, delivered and later collected.
