About I Heart Flowers
Based in the Dandenong Ranges, I Heart Flowers handles everything from bouquets to installations, creating flowers for weddings, parties and brand events. Founder Zoe built the business over 15 years before handing day-to-day leadership to co-owner Jo, an English-trained florist, in 2023. The studio calls itself an eco florist, and the practices back that up. There is no traditional floral foam, no dyed or chemically preserved flowers, very little single-use plastic, and all flowers and foliage are composted after an event, with stems sourced locally wherever stock allows. Large-scale pieces are a hallmark: floral towers and wreaths for ceremonies, hanging chandeliers of babies breath and wisteria over long tables, and garden-style arrangements that spill down the centre of reception tables. Ceremony backdrops are regularly moved inside so guests can enjoy them through the evening. Stones of the Yarra Valley features often in the studio's gallery. Arbours, stands, easels, vases, ceramics, candles and a wishing well can be hired with your flowers or separately. Consultations happen in person at the team's retail store in Tecoma or over video.
