The Sassafras Providore is a catering business in Sassafras, led by Kirsty, who has more than 20 years in catering and hospitality. The team focuses on grazing tables, weddings, cocktail parties, platters and high teas, with everything prepared in its own kitchen. Grazing tables are the signature. Each one is themed to the occasion with props and preferred foods, using locally sourced cheeses, breads, meats and vegetables, and the team sets the table up and cleans it away afterwards. For birthdays, weddings and other gatherings, the high tea service comes to your venue or home. The team sets up with fine china, linen napkins, cake stands, tablecloths and fresh flowers, then serves the food and drinks – ribbon sandwiches, savouries, scones with jam and cream, and sweets. Weddings and elopements can be built around grazing tables, high teas, finger food or platters, with waiting and bar staff, props and an in-house florist available. For smaller gatherings there are antipasto, fruit and dessert boards plus hot and cold finger food such as sliders, quiches and sausage rolls, with gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options on request.

How much do grazing tables cost?
Grazing tables are priced on application because each one is themed to the event and guest numbers. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers for a quote.
What do the catering boards cost?
Antipasto boards start at $220 for a large board serving 8–10 people. Dessert boards and fruit boards start at $190, with larger sizes for 12–15 people.
Do you come to our venue?
Yes. Grazing tables are set up and cleaned away by the team, and the high tea service comes to your venue or home and is served to your guests.
How much notice is needed?
Catering needs at least 24 hours' notice unless other arrangements are made. Orders can be collected in Sassafras daily, or delivered free within a 10 km radius.
Can you cater for dietary needs?
Yes. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options are available on request across the boards, boxes and high tea menus.
