About The Auditorium @ Kiama Leagues Club
Kiama Leagues Club sits on Terralong Street in the centre of Kiama, a short walk from the harbour, the beaches and the town's churches. The club has run since 1957 and keeps its function rooms upstairs, away from the bistro and sports bar, with free onsite parking, a lift and accessible facilities. Functions are open to the public, and the club also runs a courtesy bus. The Auditorium is the largest of three function rooms on the upper level and the one that suits a party. It has an entry foyer, its own bar, a stage and a dance floor, under a coffered ceiling with chandeliers and a run of windows along one side. Set theatre style it takes 200, at long rectangle tables 180, and at round tables 100. A smaller Conference Room seats 35 and a Boardroom seats 12 to 15, and for weddings the smaller room can be added as a wet-weather backup for an outdoor ceremony. The club kitchen handles all catering. Options run from shared platters and canapé menus to a shared banquet and an alternate-drop plated dinner, with a vegan menu and children's meals also offered, plus grazing boards and dessert boards to add on. A functions manager looks after each event with bar and wait staff, and the room comes set with tables, white linen, napkins, glassware and cutlery. Audio visual equipment, a microphone and WiFi are in every room. You can bring in your own decorator for draping, centrepieces and chair covers, though confetti and smoke machines are not permitted.

It seats 180 at rectangle tables or 100 at round tables, and holds 200 when set theatre style.
What do the function food packages cost?
Shared platter packages are $25, $29 or $35 per person, canapés are $55 per person, the banquet is $56 per person, and an alternate-drop menu is $52 for two courses or $67 for three. Grazing and dessert boards can be added.

Do we need to be club members to book a function?
No. The club takes function enquiries from the public for weddings, engagements, birthdays, corporate events and community gatherings through its events and functions manager.
Can we decorate the room ourselves?
Yes. Draping, centrepieces and chair covers are yours to arrange, and for wedding receptions the room is open from 2pm the day before for setup. Only blu-tac may be used to hang items, and confetti and smoke machines are not allowed.
