About Bush Bank
Bush Bank is a family-run cattle farm at Kiama Heights, spread over 61.5 acres of hills and gullies that fall towards Loves Bay. The ruins of an 1856 flour mill, old Moreton Bay fig trees and a 1918 Federation homestead give the property its character. Ceremonies are usually held beneath the fig trees or in the gardens, with the paddocks and coastline behind. For the reception there is a permanent marquee, and the 1850 Blue Stone Cottage works as both a chapel and a smaller dining room with stone walls and a timber ceiling. In peak season the farm takes weddings of 80 to 160 adults, and the cottage seats up to 80. Winter packages cover different guest numbers, and a celebration can run for up to 10 hours. There is no in-house catering, so couples bring their own licensed caterer, who works from the commercial kitchen in the old dairy. The hire equipment is on site, but styling and decorations are yours to bring in. The wedding party can book the homestead's B&B package, with three ensuite bedrooms for up to eight people, a lounge for hair and make-up, and breakfast cooked by the hosts. Parking on the farm is limited, so guests are bussed in from pick-up points in Kiama or Gerringong, and a traffic marshal is included.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests can Bush Bank hold?
In peak season the minimum is 80 adults and the maximum 160. The Blue Stone Cottage seats up to 80, and winter packages work with different numbers, so ask when you enquire.
Is catering included?
No. Bush Bank doesn't cater in-house, so you arrange your own licensed caterer, who can use the commercial kitchen in the old dairy that serves both the cottage and the marquee.
Can guests park at the farm?
Only in-house guests and suppliers can park, as there are just eight car spaces. Every other guest is bussed in from pick-up points in Kiama or Gerringong, and a traffic management marshal is part of the package.
Is there accommodation on site?
Yes. The 1918 Federation homestead has three ensuite bedrooms sleeping up to eight, plus a guest lounge with a private verandah for getting ready. Breakfast is included, along with a light lunch on the wedding day and breakfast for the couple the next morning.
Do you host elopements?
Yes. The farm can be hired for a small ceremony or an elopement, with prices starting from $3,500.
