About The Treehouse Hotel

The Treehouse Hotel is a restaurant and bar at 60 Miller Street in North Sydney, known for exposed brick, eclectic artwork and fresh flowers inside and a leafy terrace outside. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner on weekdays and dinner on Saturday, and its bar is a regular after-work stop for cocktails, rotating tap beers and a long wine list. There are three bookable spaces. The terrace sits beneath the trees with colourful umbrellas, fairy lights at night and garden furniture, and takes up to 60 guests on half or 120 across the full terrace and alfresco area; the 2025 function pack says adding the lounge and bar lifts that to 300 standing. The lounge seats up to 80 for a more formal meal with full table service, a central fireplace and red velvet drapes. The Red Room is the private dining room, tucked behind secret doors with leather booths, chandeliers and candelabras, and is best for seated parties of 35 or fewer. Terrace canapé packages are $35 per person for five pieces, $45 with a boxed dish added and $55 for seven pieces plus a boxed dish, and a grazing station for 20 to 25 guests is $450. Lounge group menus are $65 per person for two courses or $75 for three, and the Red Room has a curated three-course menu at $95 per person or a whole roast pig. Terrace canapé packages cost $35, $45 or $55 per person, and a grazing station for 20 to 25 people is $450. Lounge group dining is $65 per person for two courses or $75 for three. The Red Room three-course menu is $95 per person, and a spit-roasted whole pig feeding as many as 30 people costs $2,000. Drinks packages run from $50 to $80 per person depending on the package and length.

Food

The contemporary Australian menu is led by head chef David Maisey. Canapés include kingfish ceviche, coconut prawns, chicken and lamb skewers, sausage rolls, sushi and duck pancakes, with boxed dishes such as mini wagyu burgers, fish and chips, poke bowls and curries. Group menus share entrees and serve mains alternately, and the grazing board covers cheeses, cured meats, breads, dips, olives and fruit.

Beverages

Two set packages are offered: Jayne Mansfield at $50, $60 or $70 per person for two, three or four hours, and Marilyn Monroe at $60, $70 or $80, both with beer, sparkling, white, rosé, red and non-alcoholic options. Guests can also build a custom package or run a bar tab.
